  • The first year of the Master’s Program thoroughly explores fundamental philosophical problems and their historical background. The courses will be in disciplines such as ontology and metaphysics, ethics and bioethics, epistemology, philosophy of science, philosophy of logic and mathematics, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, philosophy of cognitive science, argumentation theory, and philosophy of technology and AI.  All these courses will prepare the students for further studies and research at the doctoral level.  

 

  • In the second year, the curriculum is enriched with a wide range of lessons and workshops in science and technology. Examples of topics are economics and business management, robotics and machine ethics, the neuroscience of decision-making, issues related to the environmental, economic, and social challenges of sustainability, digital innovation and technology transfer, healthcare engineering and economics, data analysis, management and communication, and intellectual property ontology.  The focus will be training students to apply philosophical skills learned in the first year to all these topics and preparing them for a wide range of professions in the areas of business, communication, and human resource management.

First-year students who are non-native speakers of English are invited to attend the course of Academic english for non-native speakers, while those whose mother tongue is not Italian should follow the course of  Italian for foreigners. For further information, please check the link.
